Analysis of FRIGHT
Life in the valley
Pulsated like
An uncertain song,
Out of tune like a
Mad drumming pulse.
His valley misted under
The teary-eyed panic,
Fright seeped in like lichen
Spread over the slopes,
There Hangul* lived along
With nimble-footed fear
Fearing where the next step
Would be?
Into Valley torture
Or the gorges of death.
*Hangul….. A kind of deer and now one of the extinct species of Kashmir.
