Analysis of The one
I’ll let my feelings show.
No, I’ll just let them go .
I’ll get a box to enclose them.
Perhaps a lock too, to confine them.
For day after day it’s always the same.
In my head it’s only your name.
This love so close that I can easily own.
Yet, this love isn’t enough and has to be overthrown.
So let’s cut to the chase,
All our memories let’s erase.
Burning our feelings never to reclaim.
We’ll watch them go down in flame .
But how can I start anew,
When my heart still yearns for you?
My mind tells me that I’m done.
But my heart says You’re still the One.
