Icarus laughed as he fell. Threw his head back and yelled into the winds, arms spread wide, teeth bared to the world.
Many people see icarus Death to be tragic
But to me it's beautiful
He  laughed as he fell
 he knew the consequences

There is a sharp triumph in crashing when you should be soaring.

As the wax dripped down his  fingertips
And As hot burning wax slithered Down his  spine,
As seductive kisses of agony
Peppered his skin and muscle,
The wax scorched his skin,
and
ran blazing trails down his back,
his ankles,
his feet.
 his thighs,
Feathers floated like prayers past his fingers,

There is a certain beauty in setting the world on fire and watching from the center of the flames.

as I saw beauty,
Others saw pain.
he loved it you see,
It was addictive to Icarus

Even Dionysis would Marvel at his insanity.
There is no beauty Without pain.

Death breathed burning kisses against his shoulders,
 where the wings joined the harness.
The sun painted everything in shades of gold.

And now,
As he must wait for judgment
, In the land of Hades,
He ask himself,
"Was it worth the fall ?"
And he answer,
"Yes it was."
