Analysis of A Question In My Heart

Sahana Kaur 2008 (Pune)

You made me feel what it is like to be in love,
and made me feel really high above.
When everything in my life was blue and I was afraid;
You made me feel like a sweet serenade.
You made my life meaningful,
All I could see was bright colors.
When a question raised in my heart;
doubting that one day we could be apart.

Watching sunsets, those syrupy kisses on my face;
and can never forget those gleaming fireflies.
You made me trust my intuitions,
and gave again the butterflies.
All the pain, the loneliness surely fades,
whenever I am in your shoulder’s shade.
but little do I-
still have a question raised in my heart,
doubting that one day we could be apart.
