Analysis of A Moment Of Truth
Dorothy Jane Crowe 1976 (Clark AFB)
I went with you for a real good reason
You were sweet and kind and never teasin
I should have never left you
That I know was really wrong
I sat myself down to write a song
About a wonderful guy who never lied
But at the end he laid down and died
But who really cares about a stupid song
At this point I really don't care if I wrote it wrong
There is one thing that I will say
Now that we are both apart
I know that means a broken heart
And all that times I really tried
To get back to you
So that I wouldn't feel so down and blue
My head goes spinning round and round
Sooner or later I will fall to the ground
I can't stop thinking of you
Because I am always feeling blue
Now I get so depressed
Because you were not like all the rest
If we were still together
I know in my heart that It would have been forever
But since I know that it cannot be
The two of us, you and me
Because you are six feet under
I will always Love You.
Even though We are not together
In my heart we are forever.
