Inspiration for this poem

I am Yukunno Ghirmay.
While walking around the canals ( of wharf/ of selearf/ of tearf) years before, around early evening-
I noticed that someone was crying his throat out for help- drowned or drowning.
Being new to the area, to the note, to the not, to the swimming thing, I was unable to watch what was happening....letalone to give hand.

Right then, I prayed someone to give hand and runaway from the episode for I couldn't believe I am unhelpful as the drowned person for another human variety and/or myself.
