Analysis of Rushing Waters
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Left alone I know I’d wander
So that’s why I’m hanging on
Precious Jesus; seven thunders
Speaking to me all night long
With a third wheel not a fourth wheel
In an airplane you can fly
On the ground a motorcycle
You can ride until you die
On a highway or a country road
Crank it up or cruise along
Get a bike that you can count on
Ride and sing a worship song
Left alone I know I’d wander
So that’s why I’m hanging on
Precious Jesus; seven thunders
Speaking to me all night long
