Analysis of And the belt went loose
And the belt went loose
Comfort, why have you forsaken me?
You have been my belt
To tie my working pants
You held so tight
I tasted the sugar in my sweat
I saw the kids outside
But the cushion you gave to my butt
In my pants I'd found my asset
Comfort, how did you forsaken me?
I thought work, me and you don't disagree
What happened to your consistence?
As my pants fall of, fit or too tight
Feels like I need sponges to fill
Or go out to lose my asset
To the sun in the name of fun
Discomfort, how did you find me?
Never anticipated I'll see
A day my guarantee kind of flees
In the discomfort of my pants
Torn apart in my personal stance
Finances can't replace romance
Left with no choice but to be in a trance
As I glance at the outside premises
knowingly I have no chance
I am a reject in this circumstance
A night owl that wants to catch the worm
Only few will understand
The few that underwent this term
Like turning a stranger into a friend
Which state, mental, emotional,
Can someone confirm
Which state at hand needs mends
Listen as they flame, can you tame them
Speak to them til they tend to be grand?
For there's no choice but to choose
And not choosing is a choice
To either go out and burn
Or suffocate in these pants
Comfort escaped
Question is what now?
