Analysis of Warrior

Ann Marie 1989 (New Hampshire)

I am a warrior
Shooting through the wall
set up for me
by my disease
I will NOT give up
I will NOT give in
for I am a warrior.

Every day is the same
a fight that must be won
in this never-ending war.

The fear
oh, the fear
eating me from the inside.

But I will not stop
I will get up when I’m knocked down
I will NOT live in fear.

Oh, I try
oh, I try
to be the influence
I want to see in the world.

I want someone to look at me
To tell me
They didn’t give up
because of my words
I want to be a good influence

A light in the world.

I just want to…
