Analysis of Rot of Capitol Hill

In the exalted halls of our nation's political power,
Inane, sanctimonious fools as asses bray.
No zeal to serve, constituents don't matter.
This insipid quorum, impresses us as neutered, spayed.

Deceive, buy votes, to claw their way into office.
Rejoice descension to this swampland hive.
No fire in their hearts to champion the country,
And lack desire to care for citizens' lives.

Once gotten inside they start amassing riches,
By graft, exploiting common working folk.
No shame, no conscience, unapologetic,
Like spiders spinning, gorging, leaving empty husks.

Raise taxes, waste, presume they're entitled,
As ticks will suck our blood until excised.
Untouched by law, since in the halls of power.
Funding perversions, den of iniquity is what they have in mind.

Most greedily attach to the weapons' industry nipple,
Start cheering globe-wide conflicts, feeding at their master's bloody teat.
Accuse their opposition of heinous crimes and treason,
In this barn, our nation is hysterically marched into the abyss.

Reality control, true modus operandi, the way to hold the reigns... malign, divide and lie.
Depraved ideals, and brazen corruption, reduced this synod to a stye.
Push cretinous laws, insider trade, and greedily skim profits,
For fraction of infraction, serfs assuredly get hog tied.

Political whores gladly yield their country's wealth, such folly.
And fill their pockets to the brim, from enemies out and in.
Corruption is the filth that fills their veins so fully,
Our Constitution is mocked, declared to be a sin.

This power hungry, blood thirsty orthodoxy,
Had ossified in place for numerous years.
Of this malignant death grip on the reigns of our country,
We'll not be freed, till vile leeches are dragged out by their ears.
