Analysis of Cherub in the Netherworld

Im either zenith bound
or being bound to the puddles and dirt
somewhat disturbed when summers occur
as my seasons change, thunder returns

my comeuppance is served
and im set to become one with the earth
frozen in time and relevant dimensions
I've felt the presence of its embrace

the swells that menace to weigh me down
slated to drown till im anchored down
just a phase for now when these waves surround
to take the crown that i claimed profound

Breaking it down till im grey-world bound
where nothing's the same
and nothing's to blame
the thunder and rain summon the chains

Im the weakest link as the light descends from me
a lifeless effigy tied to entropy
an idol figurine sitting idle endlessly
without a spine or a mind to center me...

confined in chemistry that cements the pain
endless days spent inundated within this mayhem
Remembering pains just a simple state of-
these tragic brainwaves I have to placate

Until the sun has risen to guide my way
The tragic days change and life remains-
Inside the veins I'd deemed as worthless
beneath the surface that feeling purges

I've re-emerged and can take a breath
I wont be discouraged but ill brace myself
for the storm's set to return
while reigning hell

But as it stands
I sit bound for the edifice
where the ground diminishes
and peace seems to find me

my power's limitless
and my wings can fly free
I know soon ill need reminding
That these evil seasons seem to bind me

before that thunder claps to summon blackness
I've just these matchsticks to claim as help
As i double back through this troubled path
and re-trace my same steps through satans den

one day it'll end with no made ammends
till my brains content
or im graced by the blades of death
either way my bed is made

and when either storm arrives-
ill know just which steps to take
till then im just caged in this cell
to remain me, is saving myself

its my choice on which days that ill dwell
find my voice through the pain that ive felt

staying the same,
but changing as well

waiting patiently to embrace the farewell
claiming to be an angel in hell..........

About this poem

Its about feeling bound by the severe ups and downs of manic depression..... It's one of the few things I've written in the past few years and honestly I'm not even sure what to categorize it under....
