Analysis of The moonlit sky
The Moonlit Sky
By Ren Royal
The moonlit sky
Is calling me,
To look to the stars above,
To really open my eyes and see.
To see the vast formation of clouds,
Looking for the silver lining.
What happened to the glorious sun,
Is the sky now left crying-
Looking above and beyond,
What is in front of me.
The skies are still and silent,
as if in a state of tranquility.
Looking to the infinite perhaps,
My restricted finite self.
The stars appear like heavenly angels,
Sitting majestically on a shelf.
Looking beyond what I can reach,
To see the ultimate possibilities.
I dream of floating in the deep sky,
Into realms of opportunities.
The smaller I become,
As i look far into the distance.
I seem invisible in this realm,
Yet evident in this existence.
Big seems little, little seems big,
Worries and stress seem pointless.
Yet every star is counted,
Each human being priceless.
The expansive sky is calling me,
To reach higher and higher.
To let go, let God,
And seek His will and desire.
I tend to be an isolated cloud,
Precipitating tears I can't control.
Instead of looking to God,
To heal and make me whole.
I seek God in the illuminating darkness,
I find solace and peace.
Each small piece of the puzzle,
Is part of a great masterpiece.
Every piece is needed,
To fulfill Gods great plan.
I am free to fly where I'm destined,
Where my wings began.
I am part of this expansive sky,
Calling me within.
Calling me to pray,
Again and again.
Calling me to see beyond,
And see the true divine.
For when my eyes are open
i see Gods love sublime.
So when I look to the moonlit sky
And see the stars shining from above;
I see the hands of God,
Stretched out in love.
