Analysis of Escape
Micki Moore 1975 (Idaho)
Oil lamps flicker, casting their sad shadows across faded walls
A figure tucked back just beyond light's reach, with a broken smile and tired eyes, catching glimpses of hope taunting try try try
Ignoring life's defenses
Eyes close to invite slumber, waiting for the moment it all ends, and the journey into the world where dreams live begins
