Analysis of Sky School

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

As I lie by a quiet stream
And drifting off I start to dream
My mind floats on the whispering water
Into the lake of yes, I could sir

With God all things are possible
If you go to his castle school
They teach the truth in that institution
And won’t put up with the evolution

A theory that was based on lies
Because they can’t get God to die
We took the bible out of schools
Replaced it with a lie for fools

A little insect woke me up
I watched it climb into my cup
And as it drank I heard it shout
The truth again! Go on get out
