Analysis of Benediction Instructions
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
May the God of peace sanctify,
Completely in body and soul;
Your spirit never to deny,
Allowing Jesus to console.
Faithful is He that is calling,
He shall also surely do it;
As He will keep you from falling,
With aid of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for us, sisters, and brothers,
Greet them all with a holy kiss;
Be hospitable to others,
Allowing them to reminisce.
I am charging you by the Lord,
To follow Him to the letter;
Not letting these words be ignored,
So that your life can be better.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Follow you the rest of your life;
No longer that you be enticed,
By this world that causes you strife.
