Analysis of Hiraeth
Hiraeth is a feeling,
A phantom dressed as peace
It forced itself into my solitude
As my desolation decreased
It spoke words of freedom
Brutal honesty
Have you no heart, it said
Carrying this travesty
The phantom obliterated my memories
It wiped me clean
I didn't recognize my sorrow
But the remorse was clear
White phosphorous in my throat
It taught me how to hurt
I was apathy
I was cold
Afraid to be controlled
What was left of me, was remold
The rest was burned out and exhausted
Through the manifold
