Analysis of Nothing New Adventured
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Nothing left to go adventured.
Leaves the same,
Remaining to explore.
A familiar activity to seek something more.
From a position limited,
To a comforting of a routine.
Leaving many to question,
Why beyond their closed and shut doors...
Everything seems to appear unchanged.
While peeking out of a covered window.
Needing to be cleaned,
Of smudging snack licking fingerprints.
And noses pressed up against it!
