Analysis of Raising Teenagers
By: Mark A. England 1960 (Phoenix)
Parenting Children, has it’s rewards,
We Laugh, And Play, And watch them soar;
Until About, The age of thirteen,
A Parents Testing, Will go to extremes;
The child your raising, has reached new heights,
Once Hormones kick-in, It’s sleepless nights;
Our spirits in stages, seem to awake,
Parents are challenged, make no mistake;
We give them full roam, to learn and Explore,
Be careful-We tell them, then out the door;
We wait-up at nights, till there safely home,
Testing our limits, until there full grown;
Be Patient-But stern, in raising your teen,
We’ve been down this road, with self-esteem;
Not many days hence, These times will have passed,
Reaching Adulthood, Your teen has at last;
Our Grey hairs are evidence, of parenting teens,
It’s all well worth it, Blessings-unforeseen;
