Analysis of Baking Struggles

Mix, but don’t over-mix the frothing
Egg whites while you wait for them to
Reform into the soft peaks promised by the recipe
In goes the sugar, hoping that’ll help
Now keep the mixer going for what feels like forever
Glossy, shiny peaks reward your patience as you
Use a cookie scoop to carefully, carefully place the lumps on a baking sheet
Eaten in minutes, hard work undone with a crunch.
