Analysis of SCREAMING OUT YOUR NAME

I'm screaming at the top of my
lungs,
no where to run,
screaming out your name, I don't
wanna feel this pain.
These voices that I hear they are
too loud,
there driving ne insane.
Can you hear me?
I'm walking on the edge and
searching for you,
I need you more then ever now.
I'm looking and searching, but
again your no where to be found.
I can't do this on my own, this
place don't feel like it's home,
I don't want to be alone.
I'm down on my knees in the
middle of this storm.
It's pouring down rain I don't
wanna feel all this pain,
it's all to really the ways that
you cause me to feel.
I'm screaming out your name, can
you hear me?
I wear all this hurt under these
sleeves of my shirt,
my scars tell the story of my pain.
Little drops of red trickle down
my skin,
surrounding me in puddles of red.
Nobody can hear my screams.
My life and dreams were shattered,
stolen from me.
I was left lost, damaged and
broken,
nobody here could save me, not
even me.
I can't wake up this time, my
heart slowly losing its beat.
I can't fix you and me, it's all
like a bad dream.
I was screaming out your name
but you didn't come,
you were the only one who knew
how to save me from my pain.
I was screaming out your name
but you didn't hear me,
Now the voices have won,  and you
couldn't bring me back even if
you begged GOD,
I needed you and you were no where
around, you couldn't  be found.
It's to late now I'm gone,
gone to a place where my
scars can heal,
and all my wounds will be erased.
I loved you more then the
stars in the night,
but the pain that I felt and the hurt
everyone caused,
you walking away,
you left me in so many times
when I needed you the most.
You never were around and deaf
to the sound of me screaming
out your name,
you were the only one who
could have saved me from all
this pain that I felt,
I fought this battle for far
to long,
and still I lost the war.
I loved you more.

I am a 43 years old. I grew up in the state of Kansas. I have lived writing poetry for as long as I can remember. Mostly I write about broken love because it's what I have endured alot of through out my life so I easily relate to it. I've written over 300 poems. In 2018 I had a heart attack and was diagnosed with heart disease and congestive heart failure. So I'm trying to get as many of my poems out here to share with the world before I meet my maker. more…
