Analysis of My mother is a stranger

                              My mother is a stranger

I know who my mother is
but she's a stranger in my eyes
I don't know much about her
because all she ever told was lies.

She never wanted to be a mom
yet she gave birth to nine kids
she never knew any of them
cuz her time was spent doing bids.

She didn't want the mommy life
she wanted to party and do drugs instead
she never read me stories at night
she never tucked me into bed.

She lost her kids because of addiction
and she never even seemed to care
drugs were always her main concern
nothing she did to us was ever fair.

So I know who my mother is
but she's a stranger in my eyes
I don't know much about her
because all she ever told was lies.
