Analysis of Only a Dream
When I close my eyes at night
I see you in every single dream
You're holding me in your arms so tight
The sky, a perfect color scheme
No one else belongs in this place
Full of beauty and of grace
The only thing I think about
Is being in your arms
Where I have absolutely no doubt
I'm safe from all harm
"I love you," you voice starts to ring
And then my heart begins to sing
I wake up in the morning
Wanting to rejoice
Then my heart begins its mourning
Remembering your voice
Really it was only a dream
And now I am wanting to scream
You are the one I truly love
I'm dreaming of you
You're the one I'm thinking of
I'm looking up to you
I love you more than any other
Please don't make me find another
