Analysis of Related empty doll

Snowflakes fall from the heavens swaying down slowly landing on her frail old skin.  she turns to see it melt away and thinks for a moment not sure of what but she pauses as to what seems like an eternity.
she lifts her head up to look up while another shaped snowflake lands on her. she closes her eyes and starts to remember a simpler time when things weren't as difficult as they are now.  Maritsa gets up from the cold concrete where she sleeps and starts to make her way down the corner to find a warm place for the night.
the sun isn't coming out today she knows the storm is picking up and she no longer can hide. can someone help her? can someone say, ma'am, I see you I'm here do you need help what can I do?
oh, wait that's for a simpler time that time isn't now.
