Analysis of Praying For You
you took my heart
A dream come true
someone to love me was fake news
you said you loved me
would give me the world
then left me with nothing but a bruise
now I'm left crying in the dark
my heart broken into parts
into pieces I can't seem to but back together
one bottle, two bottles, three bottles
will never be enough to fix the bruises you left on my heart
I'm starting to feel numb
my tears run
I went to my paster
Asked him what to do
He said all I can do is pray
So I went to church to pray just for you
I pray your happy laying next to her
she lights up your world then leaves you in the dark
I pray she comes along and wrecks all your plans
I pray she gives you the world then gives you hell
like you've done to me
I pray she makes you smile and laugh
then end your nights feeling bad, crying and hurting like you done to me
I go to church to pray just for you
I pray you propose with the most expensive ring and she cheats and leaves you with nothing
like you done to me
I pray she gives you the world
then gives you hell
I go to church to pray for you
