Analysis of Mental Shutdown

She is a cell floating in a hypertonic solution,
Exposed to stimuli but no reception.
In a solution saturated with inspiration,
With all the necessary motivation
However, her membrane has lost functionality,
It is no longer permeable by anything.

Internally,
Negativity is at high concentration,
She is turgid with doubt and worry.
The internal and external, are polar.
No matter what she does,
It is impossible to expel the pessimism,
Exocytosis has been hindered.

Her membrane has lost functionality,
It is impermeable by anything.

She feels a painful pinch,
When all the cells around her,
Are maintaining their perfect environment,
With motivation flowing in
And negativity flowing out,
With inspiration flowing in
And melancholy flowing out,
Like perfect osmosis.

Her membrane has lost functionality,
It is impermeable by anything.

Being in this state is asphyxiating.
She fantasizes about bursting,
Into pieces of nothing,
Remains of her to simply dissolve,
In this solution she lies in.

Her brain has lost functionality,
It is impenetrable by anything.

Depression is trapped inside of her,
And she cannot seem to absorb positivity.
Now, her only hope lies in time,
In every consecutive second.
Maybe, her joy lies in the next minute,
Or the next hour.

Let her sleep,
And anticipate for a better next day.
Even if it is next month,
Or the next year,
She knows her joy will come,
Eventually,
Someday.
