Analysis of Checking out

Tonight is the night I will end my life
I no longer wish to be alive
I am not happy with where I am this time
Maybe if things didn't go so wrong all the time
I look in the mirror and what do I see
I see a mess of a person staring back at me
A person that will never be perfect
Someone that was never good enough for anyone else.
All these scars I hide in fear,
People are so judgemental my dear.
No one knows the pain I feel
And if they did, they wouldn't care
This life I'm living isn't for me
So tonight I'm checking out
As the clock strikes 3
