Analysis of Invested Interest

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Having no personal invested interest,
In what affects others.
Or why they should or should not respond,
In a more approving acceptable way.
With a rating given.
That leaves them to pass,
The passing of judgement tests.

This done by some may come as a surprise.
When they awaken up from myths to fiction.
And to realize with wide opened eyes.
There are those living with a caring of less,
As to who they offend or become upset.
By personal actions they take themselves,
To ensure what it is they do...
Is done with the best of their ability.
Knowing every bill they pay,
Has their name on it.
And no one else's personally addressed.

'You act as if you could care less,
What others say about you.
And...
Why are you showing me,
Bills with your name on them?
I don't get the connection.'

'I was hoping my doing it,
Would be a clue to prove...
What you think is an act,
Is evidence that reveals a real performance!'
