Analysis of Advent of Spring
A sparrow settles with poise,
in my winter yard.
It glances and hops around,
then unrolls its feathers,
sings a titular tune.
And flies away.
Then a tiny blade of grass,
fearless of the cold,
proudly raises its head,
from a crevice between stones,
paved in my yard.
And spring sets in.
