Analysis of A gift to give
Eyes of stone survey from afar,
Comings and goings well noted,
Heart of youth bearing some scars,
Of mortal frames once upon doted.
Mind of steel grasps the facts,
Nostalgia no longer sheltered,
Memory merely projects the acts,
Upon order and when duly centered.
Tongue of deceit spins many tales,
Stories drawn wide and varied,
Ears well sharpened drink details,
In wedlock lie to truth so married.
Wit of lightning strikes when called,
Setting fire to all that blocks,
Charm well seasoned duly sprawled,
To do away with dusted old locks.
Silence of old comes to aid,
When all is said and done,
For my treasons I may have paid,
Yet I always felt I won.
May those affected so duly forgive,
May they always know,
I always had a gift to give,
I have made you quickly grow.
