Analysis of the woman behind the smile

nobody knows the woman behind the smile
but everybody knows of her

she seems to be a myth
always present
always willing
always content

but is she truly?

the woman behind the smile
is hard to spot

she is a deceiver
but to all who “know her”,
she is honest
true
pure

but really,
she is intentional

nobody knows she is hiding
nobody knows what she is hiding

she is hiding herself
because

she is alone
