Analysis of Came and Gone

A long and lost biological mother
Have not known it would have ended quickly
A longing wish left numb then sickly.
Looking high and looking below in hopes of joy
With sorrow not knowing you were a girl or boy.
Heart beat then two
Came and went away, two became few.
Weeks, months, isolation
Alone drowning on dark clouds
Once a creation.
Seen out soul, into a drowning bowl.

Out of light, held on tight for new life
Heartbeat then three
Healing then smiles
For then storm arriving
The rush of the Nile
Hitting with knowing no longer growing.
Drowning again in the dark madness of through glasses.
Remorse none, all is hit and run.
Flush out the flood in spurts
The creation made hurt.
Not held
Terror infilled with no love instilled
Separated, cheated away
When all is said and done, one went away.

Alisha Merritt Williams

Previously divorced and now happily married to my life partner. I am now a step-mother of 3 at 32 years old. Born and raised in, Maine, mostly small towns with little population. I enjoy the quiet. I enjoy times with friends and family but, currently work 2 jobs. I have lived in other states working odd-end jobs to stay afloat and am now a successful vital person in the medical and psychiatric field. I am not wealthy in the sense of a defining green color, but I am one of the richest individuals in the world because I have a wife and kids to come home too who love me unconditionally. I reflect and write about anything in many genres. Enjoy and don't judge, like I would do for you. more…
