Analysis of A light in the dark

I sit alone in my room
Nobody sees,nobody cares
Most people don't even notice I'm there
The pain that I feel, nobody knows
It stays inside and grows and grows
It swallows me whole
Takes complete control
And just when I think I can't take anymore
That I'm ready to end it and enter that peace forevermore
There's a light in the dark.
Letting me know that things will get better
And that I do matter
Then I realize that while in my despair
I only thought that nobody cared
Now I know that's not true
I now know that God sent me you
To help me to weather the storm
To feel much better than before
I cant thank you enough for all that you do
For its you that's really helped me through
To live to fight another day
To finally believe it'll all be okay
I know that I can never repay
The friendship you've shown me from day to day
All I can do is say thank you
Which doesn't seem enough
For you are my angel sent from above,my friend
My light in the dark.
