Analysis of Fresh skin

Like a new pair of shoes
I ware you in.
Fresh skin. Fresh newborn skin.
Skin from within my wound.
Wounds from life waring me in.

I stretch you and how you draw me in.
To touch your softness.
To scratch you away again.
Fresh skin so relieving.
Fresh skin. Fresh, fresh skin.

So pink like a fresh ripe apple
I wonder why you were healed
When I tore off your coat of hard clotting blood.
Fresh skin. Fresh and alive organ that holds me within.

I would lick you like my newborn child
imagining I was a lioness wild and free and feral. Alone but for us.
Fresh skin. Fresh in our relationship.

Fresh skin. Fresh youthful skin.
