Analysis of I need a cure-but you destroyed it

   I know there’s a cure
For my sadness and pain
    Behind my smiling face,
Is a girl who got sick
    And it wasn’t a virus
Like COVID or the Black Plague
It’s something no one can see
At first it wasn’t easy to hide
    The symptoms were obvious
But once u realized what was going on,
I hid. I hid every last sign.
I found a false cure
Every time I say I’m ok,
I get further from it
And I guess I need help
But it feels like no one cares about me
    They only want power
They don’t give two seconds
Longer than necessary to help me
As long as I LOOK 100%
    Then they’ve done their job
Get the satisfaction of doing a good
When they really made it worse
Only worsening the curse
    And sending my cure,
Far far away from me
    I don’t have a cure anymore
