Analysis of The Reconciliation Ministry
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
We regard no one to the flesh,
Although we once regarded Christ;
But the memories did refresh,
The reason He was sacrificed.
For if anyone is in Christ,
Then He will be a new creation;
And no longer to be enticed,
By any earthly vocation.
Because the old did pass away,
That everything will become new;
For the dawning of the new day,
That you will be able to view.
For all of this is coming from God,
Who through Christ we are reconciled;
Purifying us where we are flawed,
So that we are not defiled.
That God through Christ has reconciled,
Not counting our trespasses;
Purifying where defiled,
Once when anyone confesses.
We are ambassadors for Christ,
God making His appeal through us;
So that others can be enticed,
Giving them a fresh start as thus.
