Analysis of Life’s a STAGE

A good show can never last too long,
Be it bloody drama or siren song,
Or ninth inning of a tied game,
Or fourth quarter score all the same,
Or good loving, passionate, intense,
Or an unexpected romp that does not make sense.
All this is to satisfy my want,
Fool, dart hither and thither in the pond.
Release from duty, entertain,
Keep my senses, could easily go insane!
Ahhh, if my life could be an active stage,
Just before curtain down in riveting rage.
But first, I must dress my torso,
Rush to the theater in finery ever more so
Sometimes bored, sometimes fascinated.
Be participant, observer, know how the end is fated,
Trigger joy in mind and much pleasure.
Many happy memories
I treasure!
So now plan,
Attentive participant,
Curtain’s up,
But don’t be late...
