Analysis of Music

A thousand nerve fibers
Transmit to my inner ear
Absorb the soft sound
Musical, melodious, dear
Shuffle my feelings
Make my heart pound
Like musical food
I, human, lucky to receive
To transcend – the beat, the rhythm
Translate – the joy, the melody
Complicated magic
Pluck the senses
My soul restored
I almost swoon; sing along
Pick out my favorite record
Hum in tune
Sophisticated, stimulating
My body sways to the winds
The melody lingers
The beat embeds in my mind
Even my heartbeat drumming
Rich oxygen fluid shimmies
Through my veins
Tonal shades of love, moods
New dimensions
Calm; earth and moon
Feelings leaping
Sound waves waltzing
Spread to all extremities
Dance lightly in flight
You and I will become one.
Why can’t I be an actor
When all of us really are,
Since all the world is our stage?
