Analysis of IMPRESSIONISTS: A MENTAL HIGH!

I thrill at the dim painting's reflection
Cezanne, Monet, Degas, Van Gogh and turn to observe
The fantastic oils, their colorful brush strokes
That adorn the walls of the world's galleries
Each to the beholder; the skilled, educated, artist
I am in wonder, full of admiration
Of their talents
Inches away I focus, strenuously, on the color
The action, the movement, the angles
Of those great impressionist painters
Each making an imprint unique for me
My brain, like a digital camera,
Records and stores somewhere upstairs
In my gray cells
So I can spot the picture’s artist from afar
Over and over as I enter new and old galleries
Those paintings lift my spirits,
In awe, I thank God and nature
For the opportunity to admire
Pissarro, Seurat, Gauguin
They are certainly my friends,
My visages, my dreams, inspirations
With their moods and bursts of color
Embedded in my mind forever
Mine to behold and reassure
