Analysis of Schrödinger

In the heart of every creature lies a dungeon

A dark desolate place with walls lit only by a travelers own sparks of insanity

A labyrinth of sorts surrounds the door and is haunted by by our deepest nightmares

When two creatures collide, they all may be tempted to explore the depths of the other

For a creature to take steps into the unknown of another is to acknowledge the unknowns within itself

Under fear of unraveling, the creature under scope squirms and cries out like a child in the darkness

The explorer vows to accept all that is found within and gives the other a branch to bite down on

Exploration begins and blood drains off of the branch in heavy streams.

Tears pool in the sockets and the creature’s heart is ripped in twain

Every muscle in its body tenses as the creature’s head extends upward in a final howl of defeat

but just then

The explorer returns

Covered in filth and bruised, it’s eyes glow like two pieces of amber

It steps out of the soul of the other and embraces with both arms

“You have guarded yourself with every horror imaginable

But you don’t understand the beauty that comes with your wholeness”

Inside of all creatures lies a dungeon, inside may be dead or alive

It is up to us to explore and to be explored
To tend to the creature within
