Analysis of Unbreak Me

My mind can't escape all the lies he fed to me.
All the flaws I never noticed in myself beforehand, he was so sure to make me see.
In the beginning I thought his anger was only because of his love.
He is a man, therefore I must set him above.
Slowly his toxin started killing me inside.
The wrath of the one who is supposed to love you leaves you with nowhere to hide.
Unable to bear the pain, I turn frozen.
My karma won't stop chasing me, this is the life I have chosen.
My heart has always been glass.
Now it's shattered by the hammer he's thrown.
Broken and alone I cry.
The hours turn to years and keep passing by.
I take the torture, I bear the shame.
I handle my punishment for loving in vain.
Praying that God will one day forgive me,
For giving my heart to the boy who killed it.
Like a child robbed of their candy, I was tricked and he tried to take my soul.
