Analysis of COULD BE STRONGER

  The heart wants to love,
Yet, we hate.
   In the face of chaos,
It steps up to the plate.

The heart wants to understand
Yet, we are confused.
It keeps on pumping in spite of
Being abused.

The heart wants equality
Yet, we dominate one another.
   Some are secure,
Others tend to smother.

The heart wants peace
Yet, we fight.
   Some see it in black,
Others in white.

The heart wants to give
Yet, we are greedy.
   Most need space,
Others to needy.

The heart wants to heal
Yet, we destroy.
The Trojan war was over a woman,
Her name was Helen, of Troy.

The heart wants to care
Yet, we are insensitive.
   Time keeps on ticking,
It is infinitive.

The heart can't take the
Break no longer.
   If only the heart,
Could be stronger.
