Analysis of Just Fight Another Day

Another restless night,
Almost lost the fight.
My chest tight,
My mind screamed in agony..
The fervor of death,
Was once again ignited.
I was frightened,
For death seemed right.
Thank God,
For He put a stop,
To my plans.
He provided me a friend,
Who could be there for me.
She convinced me,
To at least fight one more day.
So I will.
Because she believes,
 And He believes
In me.
And that’s what matters.

About this poem

Self- worth is something I’ve always struggled with. Sometimes, in your deepest darkest times, all you really need is for a friend to tell you they believe in you.
