Analysis of Never Again
Never again.
Never again will I crave you.
Never again will i follow your sirens song.
I will never see you again.
Never again.
It didn't have to be like this,
unconventional casual fornacation.
The thought of being touched now has my skin crawling.
It really didn't have to be like this.
Never again.
Never again will i put myself in that position.
You never wanted me.
I never wanted you.
But I miss you,
and hope you miss me.
But never again will I see you.
Never again will I trust you to lead me.
Because you never wanted me to follow you.
There was time I would chase you to the ends of the earth
But never again.
You threw me away.
Made me feel like this.
I never want to feel like this again.
So never again,
and goodbye.
You have no idea how much I wanted to love you.
Never again.
I never want to see you again.
Never again.
Never again...

About this poem
It's really hard to come to terms with fact that he left. I thought that I had done everything right. I was following that delicate adolescent intuition that shatters so easily. He left because he had too, there was nothing either of us could have done. He didn't have to completely leave my life, but he chose to and I'm trying to come to terms with it. It really hurts sometimes, I know this poem is not well written. It is surface level, no deeper entradas, but there was nothing deep about what I had with him, and I need to stop thinking that there was. more »
