Analysis of Break of Dawn

We listen for the whisper of the meadowland grass
    As the nearby water shows a surface of glass
Asleep are the creatures that prowl the night
    For the time has come with the rays of light
To start a new day and realize your dreams
    To fulfill your life with more than it seems
Suddenly waking you open your eyes
    And peer thru the window at sunny blue skies
A breeze in the trees as birds sing their song
    With new beginnings having waited so long
And deer in the meadow show us their fawn
    One might sit and wonder on this, the break of dawn
