Analysis of Lost Love

Solanda Harris 1969 (Dallas)

My love for you was strong
I felt we where to belong
The tide turned the other way
I was at a lost for words of what to say.

Our relationship was strong you know
We had so many emotions there to show
The value of true love is simply unknown
This relationship has taken a bad turn
My feelings now are really blown.

Bridges have been crossed
The love we had is now lost
I always had my doubts
That the relationship would not work out
Thank you for the pain
It helped me to write again.

I have always love writing but when my son and brother passed I really dove into writing poetry to help me get through that rough time in my life. After going through something I decided to start back writing this is my outlet to put my words on paper. more…
