Analysis of "Just get up again" Yeah, sure

"Just get up again" these are the first words every child gets taught the second they fall for the first time.
"just get up again" they hear with every stumble, every scrape.

"just get up again"
It becomes a mantra they say every time they meet the ground
It helps them look passed injuries and hardships, "Just get up again" they say as they get their first bad grade or had their first big fight, when they first see the disappointment on the face of people the love.

"Just get up again"
Over time it becomes more than just a mantra it becomes a weapon and they don't even notice at first

"just get up again" is what teachers tell you when you're struggling with something they don't even wanna see.
"Just get up again" comes from professionals who think this would fix all your problems but should know better.
"Just get up again" comes from strangers on the street who just want to judge you for not being at your best.
"Just get up again" comes from those closest to you as a plea to just finally fix yourself.

"just get up again"
It's what's whispered into your ear by your tormentors who push you over and over into the ground, again.
Because you get up!
You get up only to be knocked back down.
You get knocked back down just because your standing
"just get up again" they taunt you again and again as they watch you struggle to do exactly that.

Over time their faces change
Getting replaced and reimagined and sometimes just a voice in your head
But the message stays the same
"Just get up again"
It's the Ultimate challenge they know you won't be able to accomplish
The last obstacle you're to tired to cross
"Just get up again"
It's the poison slowly injected in your veins creeping it's way to your heart
And the rock on your back you're forced to carry
"just get up again"
It's the sweetest taunt whispered in your ear as you get pushed of the cliff
And the daggers plunging into you over and over again

Until you can't take it anymore.

"Just get up again"
You become numb to these words
Soon the they don't mean anything to you anymore
They only cause you pain and anger
They make you wanna scream and cry at the same time.

"Just get up again"
That's when they really start
As if waiting for that moment they flood from every side paired with false concern or accusations, with confusion or hurt, and all you can see is the message behind it.
"Just get up again"
and the only thing you can see is the message you got taught to see.

"just get up again"
They scream at you in fake concern
But you see the truth behind it
"Just get up again"
You see their blind ignorance, their judgement, their glee.
You see it all

And you stand there and wonder if they had ever experienced even a shred of what you feel right then
You wonder if they've ever been pushed to the ground taunted with these exact same words whispered in their ear over and over again as you were struggling to do exactly that?

To try time and time again
Just to fall

And you realize
you can be sure that they have never been in that situation
You can be sure that they have always had the luxury to be on the other end of it
because if they had been in your position?
They'd never use these words

So "just get up again"
Yeah, sure.
