Analysis of Just Another Runner

A droplet hits my face
A gray cloud above
My legs won't faultier
As I pass another runner
The sky opens up
My feet breaking through falling water
A blue jay sings of peace
A crow chants of death
The songs keeps me going
My feet strike the ground
It feels like I'm floating
Some where except reality
My heavy breathing
Dissolves my euphoria
As I pass another runner

About this poem

I wrote this in my head during a run. I think running can be freeing.
