Analysis of One Night Stand (in the Gray Pew)

I didn't plan on deception,
But those Grey Eyes held me  as if I were Prey.
Yes. I saw the Wedding Ring.

But by that Time, Thought had
Long been locked down, dazed.

Then Time
Fell
away
&
An Animal Instinct
    Came to play
with
My Reasoning
as if
Night
were
Day.

Suddenly, there was
   Dawn
Pouncing
On my Eyes!
  I fled, wordless--away!
& Only then
  -----Realized,
  It was the Sabbath.

Time to Pray.

And as the Service hit the Air
I made my own internal prayer:

" Dear God,
who now has
  3 very good reasons
    To hate my Guts,

Thank you, for the Color Gray.
