Analysis of Purpose & Gratitude
Every year we reflect
Our life spent pursuing
We learn to correct
A dream worth enduring
We live our lives in haste
Constantly on the move
Unguided and misplaced
Always looking to prove
So when the holidays come
We take a break from activity
We remember where we’re from
We find joy in friends and family
Regardless what faith you believe
We all embrace the holiday cheer
A time we’d rather give than receive
A time to be thankful and sincere
