Analysis of When God Responds

Floe Estrada 1974 (Surigao)

I fell so hard after all the heights I reached
Tumbling down into a ditch is the least expected
Where are my friends and so is my man
Does no one seem to care, anyone?
Some tried to act as if the concern
Yet I fathoms all they want is to babble
The days pass, I feel  a  need for recourse
I realize I depend on a man so much I thought
Alone in a shipwreck, no paddle to goad ashore
Naught in confidence, I face God
In my mayhem, kneel in prayer
"God " have mercy, save me from this mire".

A voice said,
"Stand up. Wash your face and paddle your boat.
